When General Washington was headquartered in Newburgh, he would draft letters that would help shape the course of American History. His aides-de-camp were responsible for writing, copying, and transcribing these important documents. At this all-ages workshop, experience what these aides-de-camp did to prepare for a busy day of writing. Then, using original documents as a model, create your own 18th century style letter using a quill pen! The event fee is $3.00 per person, and includes your own quill pen to take home. Reservations are requested, as space is limited.Please Note: The ink being used is permanent.
