Historic St. Agnes Cemetery is the final resting place for people once enslaved by a prominent Albany family.

We hold a ceremony to dedicate a bronze plaque marking the burial lot as a Historic African Burial Ground. Spiritual leaders from all over the community as well as Civil Rights activists, African folk band, dancers and community leaders will participate in the hour long dedication ceremony.
