Troy's Wynantskill stream is considered to be one of the birthplaces of the modern American iron industry. Come walk along the channel that saw two of the most important iron production companies in the antebellum US. There will be an optional drive across the river to see the graves of those early iron masters: Erastus Corning, John Flack Winslow, and Henry Burden.
(The walking portion involves a fairly active climb so appropriate shoes and attire are an absolute must. Attendance is limited and this always sells out so reserve early.)
