In 1913, the 45th annual New York State Woman Suffrage Association Convention was held at Centenary Church (now Landmark Church) in Binghamton. The convention was instrumental in the ultimate passage of the Woman's Suffrage Ammendment in New York State four years later. The Broome-Tioga Suffrage Anniversary Committee will hold a celebration and partial reenactment of that historic convention at the original site, beginning at 1:00PM, October 6, 2018. Following the celebration an Historical Marker will be unveiled in front of the church. The event is FREE and open to all.
