In participation with Poughkeepsie Open Studios, join us at Adriance Memorial Library at 1pm on June 16th to hear photographer Tom DeLooza speak about history and a how-to of the wet plate collodion process. The wet plate collodion process was invented by Fredrick Scott Archer, and was the main photographic process of the mid-19th century.

After the talk, we welcome guests to visit the Rotunda Gallery to see an exhibit of Mr. DeLooza’s works, created using this special technique. From 2pm-5pm, there will be also be an open house in the Local History room, where a representation of PPLD's collection of original, 19th-century photographic portraiture will be on view.
