WWI exhibit and docent tours The Buffalo History Museum premieres its new World War I exhibit, For Home and Country, marking the 100th anniversary of American involvement in World War I. During the war, our nation lost nearly 117,000 of its bravest men and women. The exhibit will commemorate the sacrifice of 968 lives from Western New York. Guests will explore their stories and view rarely before seen artifacts from the collection including home front advertising, uniforms, and weaponry.
