A free guided tour of the D&H Canal Historical Society's National Historic Landmark Five Locks Walk; five restored locks from the 1850 final enlargement of the canal that carried coal as well as many other goods from Honesdale PA to Rondout on the Hudson from 1828 until 1898.

It was America's first million dollar private enterprise. It helped to fuel the Industrial Revolution as well as contributing to the rise of New York City as the largest city in the world.
