With a rich history dating from 1780's, when the region was considered "a dark and dangerous place", to the present Warrensburg has played a role in agriculture, industry which included lumber and tanning; recreation, and hospitality of the area. With the growth of the town many citizens left their mark in this history. Tonight as you take part in the guided walk you will meet some of Warrensburg's notable citizens and hear their stories. A homemade dessert buffet follows at Discover Warrensburg! Museum of Local History, 3754 Main Street. Reservations are a must; please call.
