Noted Adirondack authority Phil Brown will be our guest speaker. He will discuss the creation of what we know as the “Adirondack Park” in 1892. Since 1999, he has been Editor of the Adirondack Explorer, a regional bimonthly with a focus on outdoor recreation and environmental issues. He is the author of Adirondack Paddling; 60
Great Flatwater Adventures, and the editor of Bob Marshall in the Adirondacks, an anthology of Marshal's writings.
