Keith Sonnier: One of America's most influential artists, Keith Sonnier was one of the first artists to incorporate light in sculpture—an innovation that forms the foundation of all his subsequent work. Keith Sonnier: Until Today is the first solo exhibition in an American museum of the pioneering figure in the fields of conceptual, post-minimal, video, and performance art who radically reframed the function of sculpture. The exhibition considers the full arc of Sonnier’s achievement with more than 30 works that reveal his diverse output from 1967 to the present: neon sculpture, sound pieces, a site-specific neon installation in an entire gallery, and work rarely shown in the U.S.—large-scale sculpture influenced by his extensive travels. The exhibition is organized for the Parrish Art Museum by guest curator Jeffrey Grove and Museum Director Terrie Sultan,
