The Niagara County Historical Society (Niagara History Center) will present a glimpse of area life in Niagara County over the last 175 years with a tour of it's two sites. The Outwater Memorial Building, 215 Niagara Street, Lockport, NY, is the headquarters for the Niagara County Historical Society. This 1863 brick home features a Victorian Parlor, Historic Pantry, Old Toy Room, the Civil War Room and a Changing Exhibit Room. Participants will tour the rest of our 215 Niagara site, with a visit to our historic barn, the Washington Hunt Law Office, the Kant house, and the Pioneer and Transportation Building.The Historical Society's second site, The Erie Canal Discovery Center, 24 Church Street, will also be open for tours. Entry to all site will be free of charge on this day.
