Open House & talk by the Curator of the Permanent Collection at 2pm at the repurposed 1880s Keeper's House, once a residence of the engineer charged with maintaining the Aqueduct, and now a Visitor and Education Center about the Aqueduct and New York City's Water System. The 175-year-old Aqueduct, which brought fresh water to a disease-ridden New York City, is now a National Historic Landmark. The temporary Exhibitor will be on hand to discuss "The Art and Design of the Croton Aqueduct."
