Food is bland. Ever since humans have been humans we have searched the world to make our food taste better. Spices and herbs are the perfect addition to our food to accomplish this. Join Scott C. Evers, owner of Sabba’s Spicery in a course that will show the home cook how to make seasonings that liven up their meals. Hour 1: A discussion of spices, herbs and other flavorings and some interesting facts and historical notes on each. Hour 2: Blending of spices, herbs and flavoring into unique seasoning blends that each participant will design and create, with assistance from the instructor. Requirements: Imagination and comfortable clothing, and note taking materials if you would like, but not mandatory. Handouts will be provided. Maximum of 12 people.
