THE SUFFERN VILLAGE MUSEUM IS LOCATED ON THE TOP FLOOR OF THE MUNCIPIAL BUILDING. THIS BUILDING WAS ORGINALY BUILT IN 1912 AS THE SUFFERN HIGH SCHOOL. THE MUSEUM EXHIBITS AND ARTIFACTS WILL EDUCATE AND INFORM VISITORS ABOUT THE HISTORY OF EARLY SETTLERS, BUSINESSES AND INDUSTRIES. THE MUSEUM HAS BECOME A DEPOSITORY FOR DOCUMENTS AND OBJECTS THAT RELATE TO SPECIFIC SOCIAL, ECONOMIC AND HISTORICAL ACTIVITIES OF SUFFERN AND THE SURROUNDING AREA.
