Through seven guest speakers/authors and discussion in this day and a half symposium, participants will gain a better understanding and appreciation of woodland Indian art and material culture, both through an historic and a modern cultural tradition context. Keynote speaker is Jolene Rickard, Director of the American Indian & Indigenous Studies Program, Cornell University.
