The Oneonta History Center presents its exhibition on the Oneonta Theatre. This property on the NYS and National Registers of Historic Places was built in 1897 for vaudeville. Over 120 years it has also been the venue for silent and talking pictures, concerts, graduations, and more. It has been closed since December 2017. The Greater Oneonta Historical Society hopes that this exhibition on the theater's history will generate interest in bringing new life to the historic building.
