This tour will focus on three centuries of the entrepreneurship and pioneer spirit, including Carthage, McCrackenville, and the western movement after the United States was formed. You will learn about ingenious inventors, artists, and leaders who overcame the many challenges of this new wilderness in America to make this land their own and to welcome new ideas and new people as they arrived. You will also learn about the present-day challenges facing these neighborhoods and the pride that still exists today and is turning these challenges into new opportunities.

Meeting Place: Please meet in the City Parking Lot off of Seth Green Drive near the intersection of Norton St. and St. Paul Blvd at 8:30am.
