Details

Built in 1857, then covered in 1858, this 175' single span structure is one of three in the state that incorporates the Howe truss design. It's original construction cost was $1,200. In 1997 the bridge was closed and removed from it's location. It underwent rehab and was returned to its place over the Au Sable River in 1997.
