This museum interprets the history of the town of Oswego, its contributions to maritime commerce and the cultures which have occupied this port city. There are displays on one-room schoolhouses, town history and Mary Edwards Walker, a Civil War doctor born in Oswego who is the only woman to have ever received the Medal of Honor.
