The Goodsell Museum is home to the Town of Webb Historical Association, and is where the Town of Webb's history lives.  It is located in an old Victorian home built in 1899-1900 on Main Street in Old Forge NY, which is listed on the NYS and National Registers of Historic Places.  The museum contains six exhibit rooms with displays of artifacts, photographs, postcards, maps and memorabilia from the 19th century to present.  in addition the Ice House has been restored and the old Carriage Barn offers additional space for large items such as guide boats and a jail cell.  There is also an extensive Adirondack and Town of Webb research library for your use at the museum.  The museum staff can assist with research on many subjects pertaining to the Town of Webb.
